What’s new. Every beta, newest first.

Since ships small and often. Here’s what changed in each beta, so you know what’s different since the one you’re running.

Beta 3

· 0.1.0-beta.3

Blocked actions offer a fix instead of an error. Plus stack headers in Review and draft pull requests.

Beta 3 replaces refusals with fixes. When an action can’t run because of the branch you’re on, uncommitted changes, a rejected push or a pull request GitHub won’t merge, the app states the reason, offers the fix, and runs both as one undo step. Stacks in Review get a header with their status and a merge action, and pull requests switch between draft and ready in place.

Review in Since, with a stacked pull request grouped under its header and the pull request open on the right
  • Blocked actions offer a fixDeleting or merging the branch you're on, uncommitted changes in the way, a rejected push, a draft or conflicting pull request: the app states the reason, offers the fix, and runs both as one undo step.
  • Stacked pull requests in ReviewA stack shows as one group with a header: its status, Merge stack and Mark ready.
  • Draft pull requestsConvert a pull request to draft or mark it ready from the PR menu, Review, ⌘K or the PR page. The toast offers the opposite switch.
All 10 changes
  • AddedDelete Branch and Merge and tidy work on the branch you're on: pick the branch to switch to, stash if needed, and the switch, stash and delete or merge are one ⌘Z
  • AddedRemoving a worktree or cleaning up with uncommitted changes offers Stash or Discard; undo brings the changes back either way
  • AddedPush rejected offers Rebase and push, Merge and push or Force push with lease; a diverged pull offers Rebase or Merge

  • FixedClean up with Also delete them on GitHub no longer targets the base branch for branches that track it
  • FixedReflog drops the Unreachable badge as soon as a branch rescues the commit
  • FixedMerge plan merges a stack whose only clean part is its bottom pull request instead of failing

Risk flags on pull requests, merge plan blockers, and stacked pull requests. Plus a Preferences window, remote management and a flatter sidebar.

Beta 2 flags risky changes and shows CI evidence in Review, rebuilds the merge plan on GitHub’s merge rules, and adds support for stacked pull requests. Settings move into a Preferences window, remotes can be managed in the app, and the sidebar is one flat list of pages.

The merge plan in Since, with picked pull requests and a stack, and the blocker named for the one that can't merge yet
